This starter will replace older 4" & 4-1/2" starters providing a 50% weight reduction, requiring less cranking amps while cranking with twice the torque! The 2.5hp high torque gear reduction motor will produce the cranking you need for compression upto 13:1. Smaller in
size, it provides better header clearance and reduces the effects of a hot
start.
