·  The housing is machined from a billet of 6061-T6 aluminum on a state-of-the-art CNC machine producing exact tolerances.
·  Modified blocks can also take advantage of the O-ring seals to help maintain proper pressure.
·  For high rpm stability, a .500" steel shaft is supported by a sealed ball bearing and a long sintered bushing.
·  This shaft also receives a QPQ coating for friction reduction and resistance to corrosion.
·  A precision machined reluctor is attached to the shaft which triggers the magnetic pickup mounted in the housing.
·  This high output magnetic pickup is the most accurate way to trigger your ignition.
·  Maintenance-free adjustable mechanical advance assembly.

It is a Direct Replacement for MSD 6AL CDI Ignition

·  It is a multiple spark, capacitor discharge, electronic Ignition designed for high Performance Street drag racing, oval track, and marine applications
·  The PC6AL uses the latest state of the art digital technology, and when used with the Procomp high performance coil (PC - 91) produces a spark gap current three times greater than most similar systems and almost eight times the spark of the standard ignition.
·  This unit can be triggered by Magnetic, Hall Effect, Points and Crank Trigger Pick ups.
·  Produces 14 sparks / Cylinder between 0 and 3000 RPM and 2 sparks / Cylinder from 3000 to over 12000 RPM
·  Includes TWO Single Step Soft Touch Rev Limiters, one via easy to turn dial and one via chips (not included)

·  The coils uses "E-core design" technology which loses less voltage so more spark gets to your plugs.
·  Internally the coil also has large gauge wire windings for maximum spark current and voltage with better heat dissipation at high rpm.
·  High voltage arcing is minimised through screw on connectors and a high tension tower.
