This auction is for a brand new (not rebuilt) Chevy starter. It will fit both Chevy big block and small block engines. It is made to fit Chevy's with 153 or 168 tooth flywheels. It is 2.0 horsepower with a 3.7:1 gear ratio.
With a small size and weight, this starter makes installation a snap; especially when compared to the large, bulky starters offered by other manufacturers. The design of this starter allows it to fit both staggered and straight bolt patterns; with the one exception of the 400 small block engine.
